The upcoming horror film “Maxine” and its main star Mia Goth have found themselves at the center of a new lawsuit. As it became known, a member of the cast named James Hunter sued Mia Goth for allegedly intentionally kicking him in the head during the filming of one of the scenes.
According to the lawsuit, Hunter had to perform a “very important” in the plot of the role of a “dead parishioner”, which required him to lie on the ground for several hours, covered with artificial blood, “suffering from bites from ants and mosquitoes”. In said episode, the protagonist was required to “run past the statistician or step over him and then continue moving.”
The plaintiff insists that Mia Goth almost stepped on him during the fourth take, which he complained to the second assistant director. The actress then allegedly intentionally kicked Hunter in the head while working on the fifth take, and “taunted and mockingly humiliated” him off-screen afterward. James Hunter claims that he suffered a concussion as a result of this “assault,” he also experienced pain while removing the fake dried blood covered costume. The lawsuit accuses Mia Goth of battery. Representatives for the actress have yet to comment on the allegations.
