There could be several trillion dark stars in the Milky Way galaxy alone, especially considering the fact that dark matter makes up to 80% of the mass of each individual galaxy. The authors of the paper realized an important aspect that mirror stars still have gravity, and they are able to attract objects around them. The researchers pointed out that around these stars should appear called “nuggets” clumps of ordinary matter, which will heat up as they decay and emit radiation. This, in turn, would be different from ordinary radiation.
Scientists admit that it is possible to find sources of such radiation with a non-standard spectrum near dim dwarf stars.
